The Costa Rican Zebra is a cracking little tarantula from Central America, mainly found across Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras. Those bold white stripes across the legs make them instantly recognisable, and they can reach around 12–15cm as adults.
They’re a terrestrial species and are generally calm, although they can be a little skittish and quick when disturbed. Keep them around 22–25°C with humidity around 60–70%.
A hardy, attractive species with loads of character — and one that clearly wasn't interested in blending into the background. 😂
