The Tliltocatl albopilosum 'Honduran,' or Honduran Curly Hair tarantula, is a distinctive spider known for its dark brown to black coloration and shimmering golden-bronze sheen. Native to the Atlantic regions of Honduras, this species was the first of its kind to be discovered, predating the Nicaragua variant. As a burrowing species, it thrives in tropical scrublands near large trees, rivers, and in cleared rainforest areas.
